It's ok.

This book contains some useful introductory information, but as far as the math is concerned, it really makes simple concepts more difficult. I know the math-it's extremely simple, but didn't understand what they were trying to say. On many occassion, I simply skipped their explanations, and did the math. I mean, come on, does it really take a half a page to teach someone how to multiply mixed fractions? Things of that nature are simple and really straightforward. The mathematics is extremely easy. I was expecting to be challenged, and having to learn equations that involve calculus, instead, I'm simply going over crap that is easier than what is required on the GED test. So to anyone who uses this book and gets discouraged, know that's it's not you if you are struggling, it's the teaching method. The part that I appreciated was being introduced to different components, such as the function that banking plays in the business world. Great book if you like easy material, but not anything special if you actually want a challenge. If the book was more thorough and challenging, then I would have gave it 4 stars.

This is a good book if you need encouragement.

Noah Kagan offers a very intriguing look at what it is like to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are people who are not satisfied with the status quo. We have a strong desire to find better ways to do things. Rather than accept things as they are, we are able to imagine better solutions for people. I can imagine the dissatisfaction working for a large enterprise like Intel. In a large organization, it is very hard to feel as though one is anything more than a cog in the machine. Most people are not happy with their work at a large organization. Instead, they want to feel that they are doing something that has meaning. For an entrepreneur, if people are buying our service or product, it's a sign that we have successfully solved a problem for other people. There are always new solutions that we must work on. That is part of the exciting thing about being an entrepreneur. Even though Kagan got fired from Facebook, he doesn't trash Facebook or the managers at Facebook. He accepts responsibility and realizes that he needs to continue to work on the next path. A true entrepreneur certainly looks forward rather than backwards. This is a good book if you need encouragement.

A very interesting read. Well worth the time. Tyvm to the Author for creating it.
I wonder if the author realizes that he was never, in any way, going to really, actually get the stock payout. I think he never was going to get that money from the start, I think there was no intention. While there may have been an initial desire, I think that was yanked off the table as an option by some covert force/person who took a long look at who was getting what payouts and when it was found he was going to get a huge amount, plans were set in place to get rid of him sooner or later. This is the Wild, Wild West out here in California. I think he was trusting, transparent to those nearby, had passive-aggressive hostile coworkers, and despite the agreement he was taken advantage of.

I look forward to reading any more books this author writes as well as seeing his successes.

This book was very insightful for me. Maybe because I like Noah and his writing style. A lot of people seem to judge this book as if they were expecting to read a PhD 800 pages research... The book is clearly about Noah and how he was acting and thinking a decade ago. To me, reading the thoughts and mistakes from a successful young entrepreneur its very valuable. It's a free book, but even if it wasn't I wouldn't consider a "waste of time". Normally I would have rated it four stars because to be honest, it isn't a 5star book, but seeing all those people rating it a one star it's just not fare. The author put time and efforts to present us the best way he can with all that he had in his mind. If you think that's easy, try to do better! Go Noah! Continue to inspire us and provide value to thousands of entrepreneurs.

I love stories of triumph and I love to see the good guys win. This book chronicles the journey of a successful entrepreneur BUT, it also outlines the steps for success that can be replicated by all who are seeking the process of success. The struggles are universal. We can all relate to. It is an easy read. I finished it in two days in my spare time, but keep referring back to it as I implement the steps in the process. Practical and Relevant I recommend this book for all small business owners or students.

A book with characters you'll love

Maryn Sinclair has created memorable characters that will be with me for a long time. Daniel, the damaged hero, and Annie Claire, the woman whose dream turned into a nightmare. They're together for a weekend that gives each of them more than they ever expected. Ms. Sinclair is an excellent writer whose words flow beautifully. The Escort is a hot, sexy love story you won't want to put down. I really recommend it.

The story couldn't live up to my expectations

I really tried to love The Escort but it couldn't live up to my expectations. After reading the first few pages I was hooked, however at a certain point the story didn't work for me anymore. I'm rather clueless if it's my bad or maybe the book was just not good enough.

Basically The Escort is not a bad book, and I liked the beginning but ultimately I had to accept that The Escort can't hold a candle to Damaged Goods. There was this ever-present sadness hovering over the book, and I'm sorry to say it but it killed my willingness to enjoy the story. Almost every main and secondary character had to deal with issues and I mean really heavy issues.

I think that the author missed a huge opportunity to develop a wonderful story full of passion and sensuality. Being blind means that you have to use your hands to "see" and feel all kind of things. I was so looking forward to reading about their erotic encounters but they left me somewhat disappointed. Imagine what the author could have achieved by writing heartfelt, sensual, and erotic sex scenes. That was not in the cards because there was never enough chemistry between Daniel and Annie! So sad and I truly regret that fact. It's just not enough to offer the reader a scrumptious hero. Further, the heroine was way too pale.

The ILY's were kind of odd and the ending was way too rushed and abrupt for my liking. I'm not sure but maybe I couldn't enjoy the story since my mood is not at its best and I would certainly recommend you to read The Escort when you're in prime condition. That could help to smooth things over.
